Our curriculum was curated to help students of all levels develop a high caliber of knowledge, skill, and passion for the art of Ballet.

We take special consideration with regard to each child’s emotional development and physical maturity to provide a unique experience and a solid technical foundation.

Our program is based on the progression of steps. The steps are accompanied by appropriate music to help facilitate learning and retention and are important elements for the development of proper technique. The lessons are structured according to age and class level.

Our classes focus on teaching the correct placement of the body, coordination of movement, use of space, proper movement dynamics, artistry and musicality.

Our students are encouraged to approach their work with excellence, self-discipline, respect, trust, integrity, care and an open mind to learn. These elements serve as the foundation to the school and are essential to maintaining a professional learning environment. Because we are passionate about providing students with optimal results, it’s highly recommended that students fulfill their commitment by completing the season in its entirety (September – June).

To successfully progress from level to level, consistency is key. Therefore, each of our students are expected to maintain exceptional attendance rates both during the season and throughout the summer.

While technique classes are our core focus, learning elements of performance play an integral role in the curriculum. Unique performance opportunities assist students in building artistic qualities. Students develop a better understanding of the history and meaning of classical repertoire. In addition, students are encouraged to push their technical limits by performing contemporary, character, and neo-classical works.

Our professionally produced productions take place twice per season at two state-of-the-art venues. The Nutcracker will take place December 7, 2019 at Palm Beach State College Eissey Campus Theatre located at 11051 Campus Dr. Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. The Season-End Mixed Rep and Season-End Production will take place mid-June at Lynn University’s Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center located at 3601 N Military Trl, Boca Raton, FL 33431.

Additional in-house performances and community performances will take place during the season to allow students to give back to our community and explore the choreographic process.

Our faculty evaluates the students on an annual basis to provide consistent feedback on the progression of each student. The assessments give students the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the material presented, musicality, and quality of movement. During the assessment, students perform a set class that will demonstrate the progression in congruence with the syllabus of material learned throughout the season.
